John Williams< no role > Servant to Mr. Cauldwell saith
that on the second of February about Six in the Evening
coming in to his Masters Warehouse was inform'd there
was something making a Noise in the Vault he took
a Candle & search'd the Vault & saw the Arm of the Child
move & went up Stairs and inform'd his Master of it
[..] who told him the Vault must be broke open immediately
which was done & the Child was taken out alive and
put it into an Apron which his Master gave him and
this Witness brought it into the Kitchen

Thomas Tingle< no role > Servant to Mr. Cauldwell saith that on
the Second of February about Six in the Evening he had
masion to go to the Necessary and hearing a Noise in
the Necessary he went out & fetch'd a Candle & leat it
down into the Hole & saw something white & soon afterwards
saw a thick Stick moving upon what he saw as endeavouring
to put it under the Sail that he went to John Margenis< no role >
who was at the Copper who went with him to the Vault
and soon after Richard Macarty< no role > came but neither of them
could make any thing of what they saw presently John
Williams came & took a Candle and looked down the Vault
and then Williams said he saw the side of a Childs Head with the Ears and his hand
mov. but says that he was call'd away & did not see
the Child taken out of the Vault
