Field, that the said Michael Brannen< no role > took a Coat and
Waiscoat wrapt up in Brown Paper and a Watch and
about fourteen Shillings in Money from the other Man,
that the said Men then went on towards Islington and
the said Michael Brannen< no role > & this Examinant came
towards London that this Examinant asked the Person
from whom he took the Bundle if there was any thing
in it that he set store by, and he answering in the
affirmative, this Examinant returned it, that immediately
after the Robbery the said Michael Brannen< no role > and this
Examinant went across the fields and down Birch Lane
to one Linnon's the Red Lion in Golden Lane where the
said Brannen lodged and went upstairs into a room, that
this Examinant does not know that any body saw him
go up Stairs, that upstairs they opened the said Paper
parcel containing the Coal and Waiscoal and examined
the Watch & divided the Money, that they left the Coat and
Waistcoat in that Room & this Examinant put the
Watch in his Pocket, that Branner & this Examinant
then went to the said Fyfes again where they got about
12 o'Clock, that this Examinant had tumbled into the Mud
just after the Robberry, that he does not recollect
whether they had anything to drink at Fyfes or who
saw them, that this Examinant then went home and
found Elizabeth Castle< no role > whom he lived with in Bed, that the
next Morning the said Elizabeth Castle< no role > took notice of this
Examinants Cloaths being dirty, that on the Sunday
Morning this Examinant went to the said Linnars again
where he found the said Michael Brannen< no role > in the Tap
