The Deposition of Benjamin Booden< no role > son of the Defendant Booden
and John Forbes< no role > of the Parish of St Bride Fleet Street Baker
Severally make oath and say and first the said Benjamin
Booden for himself saith that on saturday the 16th. day of
January Instant he this Deponent went to the house of the
prosecutors residence known by the Sign of the ship in Banbridge
street St. Giles in order to serve him with a true Copy of
the notice hereinto annexed dated the said 16th day of January
Instant and on enquiry for the said Prosecutor he this
Deponent was Informed by the maid servant that the said
Walter Weldon< no role > was in the house and gone to Bed, and this
Deponent saith he delivered to the Landlord of the said
house whose name he has been Informed is Murphy
and who came in soon after, a true Copy of the Notice
hereunto annexed and acquainted him with the Contents
and which the said Landlord received and read in this Deponts.
presence and this Deponent saith that the Courts adjournmt
to this Day was he believes the reason why his said Father the
Defendant did not Surrender himself yesterday agreeable to the
Tenor of the said Notice. And the said John Forbes< no role > for him
self saith that he and Yesterday in the Evening being the 18th
January Instant go to the house known by the Sign of the
Pitts head in the old Baily where he was Informed the said Walter
Weldon< no role > was in a Room in the house with several persons in
Company, in order to Serve him with a Copy of the Notice bearing date
the said 18 January Instant and also hereunto annexed, and Entring
the Room, he this Deponent enquired If Mr Weldon was in Company
one of whom Replyd to this Deponent and pointing said this is he,
this Deponent saith that Informing them of his Business, and that he
