for the said County
Who being upon Oath for them selves jointly say
that they are Seam [..] and Came Yesterday from
Godalmin in the County of Surry came into the
Parish of Saint Giles in the fields
in London
went into a Publick House to refresh themselves
where they saw a person now present who call
herself Ann Smith< no role >
who followed these Informt.
(when they came out) to a House in Church Lane
in the said Parish of Saint Giles
where they went
to Lodger that about ten o'Clock at night they went
to Bed when the said William Goss< no role >
pulled of
his Jacket in the Pockets of which was half
a Guiner in Gold & some Silver to the amount of
about Twenty five Shillings in the whole and laid
the same upon the Floor by the Bed side that in
less than an hour the said Ann Smith< no role >
came
into the Room and they both saw her sake up the
Jacket and in a few minutes went away and
upon Examing the pockets of the said Jacket
they found the Money all taken away these Informt.
are certain that there was no other person And she

came into the said Room from
the time they went into the same to the time they
found the said Money [..] taken as aforesaid
