The Information of Susanna Turpin< no role > of the
Parish of Saint George in the County of Middx
Singlewoman taken before me this 3d. day
of September 1773.

Who upon her Oath Saith that she is Servant to William Grey< no role >
of Salters Alley in the Parish aforesaid Taylor and Elizabeth
his wife and has lived with them as such for fourteen
Months past or thereabouts, and that she well remembers
that some short time since the ParticularTimeDay she
cannot recollect but thinks it was the beginning of June last
she saw Christopher Taafe< no role > & Isabella Cummings< no role > come to
her Masters house and after some Discourse with her
Mistress they three went backwards into the Garden and
this Informant followed them and saw her Mistress and the
said Isabella Cummings< no role > go into the Vault and this said
Informant hearing them tall and being inquisitive went to
the Vault under pretence of doing some work but in fact
to listen to their Discourse when and where the heard
her Mistress say take it away I will have nothing to do
with it and the Door of the Necessary opening at that
Juncture this Informant saw a Silver Watch with a Steal
Chair which she has been informed was the Object of their Dispute laying upon the Seat of the Necessary or Vault
from whence she saw Christopher Taafe (who at that Period
intreated this Informant to hold her Tongue and say
nothing take it away) and then put the Watch and Chair into the Earth where
making a Mark at the Place he left in the watch and
