The Information of James Guy< no role > taken before me this
25th.. day of June 1773.

Who being upon Oath says that he lives Servant with Mr. Vere Sherriffs
Officer in Southampton Buildings Chancery Lane Says that on Tuesday
last was Sevenight this Informant Thomas Graves< no role > now present and John
Leonard
< no role > now under Confinement were all together in the house of Robert
Brailsford
< no role > in Petty France Westminster , being put there in Possession of
the Goods and Chattles of the said Brailsford by the said Mr. Vere. Says
that about 4 or 5 o Clock that afternoon as the said Thomas Graves< no role > and
this Informant were sitting playing at Cards in a back Parlour in said
house (the said John Leonard< no role > having been absent from them about half an Hour) this Informant heard the Cry of a Woman very loud up Stairs upon
which this Informant arose went up Stairs very Softly and either in
the one Pair of Stairs or two backwards he saw the said John Leonard< no role >
laying in his Cloaths on a Bedclose to the bank ofwith Ann Boss< no role > whose
hands lay over the Bed side, her hair hanging over her Eyes, without
a Cap, and crying out very loud that she was ruined, upon which this
Informant Pulled him off the bed and led him down Stairs, that the
said Miss Boss In a few minutes after came down constantlykeptCrying
out she had been ruined that the said John Leonard< no role > took hold of her
and put her out at a Back Door where she fell down in the Yard
and afterwards was put out at the back Gate by the said Leonard
