taken before
me this 6th. day of February 1771
Who being upon Oath say that on Thursday Evening last
two silver Table Spoons two Salt Sellars one Salt Shovel a Milk
Pot & six Tea Spoons were stolen out of their Parlour, that
no Person was in their house from the Time the Said things
were seen safe until the Time of their being missed except
these Informants their Child and two Plumbers who came to
repair a Leaden Pipe, And this Informant Michael Cox< no role >
for
himself says that one of the said Plumbers was never out
of his Presence during the Time he was in this Informants
Houser and these Informants further say that the other
Plumber
who calls himself John Piercy< no role >
was for some time
close in the said Parlour and that they do suspect and
verily believe that the Said John Piercy< no role >
stole the things
above mentioned
