before me this 14th. day of November 1770
Who being upon Oath says that on Sunday Night last a little after 9 o
Clock as he was going through a Court in Bedfordbury
he stopped to
make Water that after he had finished a person now present who calls
himself Thomas Smith< no role >
seized him by the Collar and said you must
give me what you have got upon which he gave the said Thomas Smith< no role >
eighteen pence, that the said Thomas Smith< no role >
then damned this Informant
and put his hands in his Pockets saying this Informant must hare
more Money about him, that finding no more Money in this Informant's
Pocket the said Thomas Smith< no role >
said he would charge this Informant
with Sodemy if he would not give him more Money, that this Informant
said he had a friend in Covent Garden
& they both came together towards
Covent Gardens, that this Informant charged a Watchman with the
said Thomas Smith< no role >
as soon as he came up to one which was in
Bedford Court
