The Information of Mary Smith< no role >
Charles Atkins< no role > and Edward Rogers< no role > taken
before me One of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the said County

Who severally being upon Oath and first
this Informant Mary Smith< no role > for herself saith
that on Saturday Night last she went to
Bed about 12 o'Clock and Bolted the Kitchin
Window of her House in the Inside and about
8 o'Clock when she got up the next Morning she
found the Bolt of the Kitchin Window safe
as she left it But found the back Door and the
Passage Door of her House Open which were
Shirt the Preceeding Night and about 6'o
Clock on the Sunday Morning she heard a
Noise which she supposed was some of her
Lodgers but has Reason since to suspect it
was some Person that then got into the House
and when she got up she Missed the followg
things now produced which were Stolen in
the House that Night Vizt. a Copper Tea
Kettle
< no role > and a Copper Coffee Pot and Sundry
Wearing Apparel & LInen which are the
Property of this Informant And this Informant
Charles Atkins< no role > for himself saith that about 6'
o'Clock last Sunday Morning a Person now
Present who calls himself John Coley< no role > came
to this Informants House with a Bundle tied
up in a Handkerchief and laid it down up on the
Seat and sat down upon it & spread the Skins
of his Coat over it which made this Informant Suspect that
they were Stole and he Stopped him & put him
into the Custody of the other Informant Edwd.
Rogers And this Informant Edward Rogers< no role >
for himself saith that he took the said John
Colly
< no role > into Custody upon the Charge of the other
Informant Charles Atkins< no role > And saith that after
the said John Coley< no role > was in Custody he found
