The Information of James Dace< no role > Domestic
Servant of Mathew Duane Esqr. of Bedford Row
George Atwell< no role > Servt . to Mr. Daniel Bowditch< no role >
of Grays Inn Sane & William Symonds< no role > a private
Man in the first Regiment of Foot Guards taken
before me One of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the said County.

Who being severally upon Oath say And first
this Informant James Dace< no role > for himself saith
that between 8 & 9 o'Clock last Night he was at
home in his Masters House which is next Door
to Mr. Le Marr's where he saw a Person now
Present who calls himself James Att away come
into his Masters House at the Back Door and
went through the Passage sent at the Street Door
And upon his Mistress calling out step thief
he Immediately pursued the said Jas. Attorney
& never last sight of him till he was takled
And the said George Att well & William Symonds< no role >
for themselves jointly say that about 9' oClock
last Night they heard a Cry of Step thief and they
saw the said James Attaway< no role > Running and
Pursued by several people and they pursued
and came up with him and took him And the
said George Atwell< no role > for himself further saith
that a Piece of Wax Taper< no role > now produced was
found by him in the Pocket of the said James
Attaway
