Michael Ryan< no role > John Hayes< no role > & Jas. Gallaway< no role > taken before me One
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said
County

Who being severally upon Oath And first this
Informant William Burrell< no role > for himself saith
that on Sunday the 11th. of March lastbetween
at Sevenand Eighto'Clock in the Evening he went
out of his Masters House and the Clock now Produced
was safe in the Parlour & the Sash of the Window Shut down & when [..]
he returned back about 9' o'Clock the said Clock was Missing
but by whom it was taken this Informant cannot tell
And this Informant Wm. Vevers for himself saith
that he went into his Masters Parlour between Seven
& Eight' o'Clock the same Evening and formd the Sash
of the Parlour Window thrown up and the Clock now
Produced gone [..] and both these Informants
say that the Clock now Produced is the Property
of their Master David Greeme Esqr and was stole
out of their said Masters Parlour. And this Informant
Michael Ryan< no role > for himself saith that last Sunday
was a Month about 8' o'Clock in the Evening at the
End of Lawrence Lane St. Giles he met the other
Informant John Hayes< no role > and three other Persons
with him & the Street being Narrow Hayes laid hold
of this Informt: & throwed him out of his Way & at the
same times Hayes had something Under his Ann
but at that time this Informant could not tell what
it was & One of the other Persons struck him a Violent
Blow on his side And this Informt. when he Recovered
he followed them [..] & same up to them near a Lamp
& asked them why they Used them [..] that manner and
then Hayes dropped the Clock now produced & this Informant
took it up & then he cryed out Stop thief and they all Ran
away and Hayes was taken in the House of One Welch
in Buckeridge Street but Welch telling him that he
had no Authority to take him he let goe Hayes Collar
& he made his Escape but was taken the Teusday
Following And further says that the Clock now
Produced was Dropped by Hayes And this Informt
John Hayes< no role > for himself saith that on Sunday
was a Month between 7' & 8' oClock in the Evening
