taken before me this 5th. day of May 1769
Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said Isaac
Solomon< no role >
for himself says that a person now present who calls
himself Philip Eronvelle< no role >
came to him and offered a Quantity of
Plate now produced to Sell to this Informant, that he stopped the
said Philip Eronvelle and went to Mr. James Donellan< no role >
a Constable
in that Neighbourhood and desired him to go with him to Stop a French
man who had brought some Plate which he thought was stolen, says
that the Said James Donellan after making this Informant pay
him a Shilling for his Trouble went with him, says that soon
afterwards the Said Philip Eronvelle made his Escape out of the
Custody of the Said Constable, and the said James Donellan for
himself Says that he went to the Lodging of the said Isaac Solomon
where he saw the SaidJaPhilip Eronvelle and a Quantity of
Plate now produced, says that the Said Philip Eronvelle escaped
at that Time but that he this Informant met with him again on
Wednesday Evening last and took him into Custody at which Time
he was a Candlestick a pair of Snuffers and other things now produced
