taken on oath the 3d. day of July
1769 before me one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace
in and for the said County And first the said
John Hollwood< no role >
whoSaith
That on Saturday last he put a double tin Tobacco Box with
four shillings in Silver in it and a five Shillings and three
Penny piece in Gold into his Coat Pocket at the Spotted Horse
Shoreditch
, and in about a quarter of an Hour afterwards
found the Same had been privately Stole out of his Pocket
and upon Street enquiry hath been informed and verily believes
that one Mary Kisser< no role >
so Stole the Same And this Informt.

Saith that he was present at the time and place
aforesaid and Saw the said John Hollawood< no role >
put some money
into his Tobacco Box and put the Same into his Pocket
(when a Woman who this Informt. looked upon to be his
wife but since finds is one Mary Keyser< no role >
Sat by him)
and soon after this Deponent saw the said Woman put
her hand into the Coat Pocket of the said John Hollawood< no role >
& take the said (Box there out & then left the House
& took and Carried the said Box away with the Money
therein as Deponent believes
