The Information of
Francis Sullivan< no role >
taken before me this 28th. day of
June 1768
Who being upon Oath says that he became acquainted with
two Men now present who call themselves Patrick Burn< no role >
and
Samuel Cracraft on Saturday last, says that a Woman who goes by
the Name of Suck-me-clean calling this Informant Irishman told
him he would go well to go with the said Burn & Cracraft & said
he would get a new Suit of Cloaths, that she told him he would be
very fit to go into a Kin meaning into a house to fetch out Goods,
that on Sunday Night last about half an hour past ten, he this Informt.
with the said Burn & Cracraftand one Terry Findley a Boywent to
Mrs. Evan's upon Salt Petre Bank
and drank some Beer & Gin or Anne
seed, that Kitty Kennedy the said Mrs. Evans's Daughter served the Dram
that me Tom a Waiter in the house saw them there together, that about 11
o'Clock this Inft. the said Burn & the said Cracraft went from Mrs. Evans's
about half way down Salt Petre Bank
& met one Terry Findley a Boy
who went along with them by their desire, that they all four went together
to Black house Yard wherethey
[..] said Burn and Cracraft searched
this Infts. & Terry Findley's Pockets for Money but found none, that
they saw a person now present who calls himself Robert Nicholson< no role >
coming up, that one of them said here is a sucky Cull and bid this
Informant go up to him, that this Informant sent accordingly &
[..] red hold of the said Robert Nicholson< no role >
& ask'd what he had in his
Pocket, that the said Robert Nicholson< no role >
pushed him away upon which
the said Samuel Cracraft immediately knocked the said Robert
Nicholson< no role >
down and put his hands over his Mouth & Eyes, & said
that if the said Robert offered to speak a Word he would cut his
throat, that the said Patrick Burn< no role >
then searched the said
Robert Nicholsons Pockets and took out his Money, that the
said Terry Findley run away as soon as Nicholson was knock's
