The Examination and Volluntary Confession
of Peter Fresh< no role > taken before me this 4th. day
of February 1766

This Examinant volluntarily Confesseth and saith that a Person
now present who calls him Louis Riviers, Councelled and advised this
Examinant to Steal a Quantity of Plate out of the house of the Right
Honble Lord Bothimon where he This examinant lived, say that
on Sunday last he Stole a Quantity of Plate now produced out of his
Lordship's house and carried the same to the Lodgings of said
Riviers, that they then went together and hid it near a Hall
by Montague House and that said Riviere buried it
