was on or about the 13th. day of May last, purporting to be the Bill

in favour
of James Hamilton< no role >
dated Bristol
May the 6th. 1765 for £5..6..10 Published to the
Informant by a Person now Present who calls himself James
Hamilton< no role >
as a True Bill, and for and as the True Bill of Exchange
of one william Horsley< no role >
Grocer
in Bristol
, and at the same time
pretending that the said Bill was sent to him the said James Hamilton< no role >
from Bristol for goods he had sent down there as value for it to said
Horsley a Grocer, Further says that he verily believes the said Bill
to be a false and Forged Bill [..] of Exchange and that it was published
to this Informant by said Hamilton [..] knowingitit to be so
with Intent to Cheat and Defraud this Informants

Hamilton Intended to Defraud him when he Published the Bill is, sd. Hamilton's
