AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our sovereign Lord the King, at The Parish
of Saint George in the County of
Middlesex , the Twentieth Day of August in the Twenty fifth Year of the Reign of
our sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and
Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Phillips< no role >
one of the Coroners of our said Lord the King for the said County, on View of the Body of
John Rymett< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
Solomon Williams< no role > , Thomas Cannon< no role > , William Meates< no role > , George Royston< no role > , John Bradshaw< no role > , Stephen
Hare, William Mead< no role > , Stephen Grenier< no role > , William How< no role > , Richard Baker< no role > , John Arundell< no role > , Pluncas
Pound, Thomas Martin< no role > , John King< no role > , William Wilcox< no role > Clement Leeds< no role > , William Gander< no role > and John Cox< no role >
good and lawful Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly
sworn and charged to inquire, for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by what Means, the
said John Rymett< no role > came to his
Death, do, upon their Oath, say, That the said John Rymett< no role > on the sixteenth Day of August
in the year aforesaid being coming down a Rope belonging to certain Tackle which was then
fixed to a Scaffold at a Sugar House of Camden situate in Old Gravel Lane in the Parish
and County aforesaid It so happened That he the said John Rymett< no role > then and there accidentally
casually and by Misfortune fell from thence to and upon the Ground By means whereof he the
said John Rymet< no role > then and there received divers mortal Bruises in and upon the Head Breast
and Body of him the said John Rymett< no role > , Of which said Mortal Bruises he the said John Rymett< no role >
then and there instantly died And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say That
the said John Rymett< no role > in manner and by the means aforesaid accidently casually and by Misfortune
came to his Death

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said Coroner as the said Solomon William< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, on the Behalf of himself and the Rest of his said Fellows, in
their Presence, have to this Inquisition, set their Hands and Seals, the Day and Year first
above written.
