AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our sovereign Lord the King, at The Parish
of Bedfont in the County of
Middlesex , the Sixteenth Day of August in the twenty fifth Year of the Reign of
our sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and
Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Phillips< no role >
one of the Coroners of our said Lord the King for the said County, on View of the Body of
Charles Smith< no role > an Infant then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
John Lloyd< no role > , John Stevens< no role > , John Robbins< no role > , Thomas Beauchamp< no role > , Thomas Tilliar< no role >
William Robinson< no role > , Robert Heath< no role > , Thomas Pott< no role > , Thomas Merrick< no role > , Thomas Jordan< no role >
Thomas Dawson< no role > , John Gammon< no role > , John Leaton< no role > , John Lidgald< no role > andCharles Keep, John Beauchamp< no role >

good and lawful Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly
sworn and charged to inquire, for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by what Means, the
said Charles Smith< no role > came to his
Death, do, upon their Oath, say, That the said Charles Smith< no role > on the Eleventh Day of
August in the Year aforesaid at the Parish and in the County aforesaid departed this
Life by the Visitation of God in a Natural Way to Wit of Convulsions and not otherwise
to the Knowledge of the said Jurors

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said Coroner as the said John Lloyd< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, on the Behalf of himself and the Rest of his said Fellows, in
their Presence, have to this Inquisition, set their Hands and Seals, the Day and Year first
above written.
