To the Constables Headboroughs and Beadles of the Hamlett of Poplar
and Blackwall in the Parish of Stepney in the County of Middlesex

to wit}


By virtue of my Office These are in his Majestys Name
to charge and command you that on sight hereof you
summon and warn 24 able and sufficient Men of your
said Hamlettpersonally to be and appear before
me on fridaythe 8th.Day of July Instant
at 7 o Clock in the Eveningat the House of Mrs.
[..] Ewenknown by the Sign of theship
Spotted Dogin your said Hamlettthen
and there to do and execute all such things us shall be
given them in charge on the behalf of our Sovereign Lord
the King touching the Death of a Boy Unknown
and for so doing this is your Warrant And that you also
attend at the time and place above mentioned to make a
return of the Names of those whom you shall so Summon
And further to do and execute all such other things as
shall be then and there enjoyned you And have there then
this Warrant Given under my Hand and Seal the 6th
Day of July1785.
