Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith [..] so forth, before Thomas Phillips< no role >
one of the Coroners of our said Lord the King for the said County, on View of the Body of
James Trumpet< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of
Anthony Carlatte< no role > , Samuel Shepheard, George Hagleton< no role > , Thomas Street< no role > Samuel Whiffin< no role > Alexander Lowe< no role >
John Clark< no role > Thomas Laycock< no role > , Richard Parker< no role > , Thomas Overton< no role > , Thomas Kelly< no role > and John Pownceby
good and lawful Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly
sworn and charged to inquire, for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by what Means, the
said James Trumpet< no role > came to his
Death, Do, upon their Oath, say, That The said James Trumpet on the Twenty fourth
Day of April in the Year aforesaid being going over a certain Deal Board which was
then lying between a certain Ship called The Belsy and Sally and a certain other Ship
called The Anthony at Shadwell Dock in the Parish and County aforesaid It
so happened That he the said James Trumpet< no role > then and there accidently casually
and by Misfortune fell from the said Deal Board to and upon a certain other Deal
Board then lying in the said Dock, By Means whereof he the said James Trumpet< no role >
Did then and there receive divers Mortal Bruises in and upon the Body of him the
said James Trumpet< no role > Of which said Mortal Bruises he the said James Trumpet< no role >
then and there died And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say
That the said James Trumpet in Manner and by the Means aforesaid accidentally
casually and by Misfortune Came to his Death

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said Coroner as the said Anthony Carlatte< no role >
the Foreman of the said Jurors, on the Behalf of himself and the Rest of his said Fellows, in
their Presence, have, to this Inquisition, set their Hands and Seals, the Day and Year first
above written.
