Informations of Witness taken at the Lodge of theDwellingHouse of
Correction Clerkenwell the Sign of Bridewell
in the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex Monday the fifteenthday of
May1786. Before Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire
one of his Majestys Coroners for the said County touching the
Death of William Morer< no role >
then and there lying Dead as follow

Richard Ilsley< no role > one of the prisoners in the said House
of Correction and Nurse of the Sick Ward Upon his Oath
Saith That about a Mouth Since the deceased was
brought into the Sick Ward apparentlyandin a
decline and troubled with Vernim allowe his
Body South that he continued in such State
notwithstanding every possible Care and Attention
was shewn to him until Friday the 12th. instant
when he died and Saith that he believes he died
of a Decline and not by any other Cause whatever.
