Informations of Witnesses taken at theDwellingLodge of the House of
Correction Clerkenwell the Sign of Bridewell
in the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex on Saturdaythe fifteenthday of
April 1786 . Before Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire
one of his Majestys Coroners for the said County touching the
Death of Sarah Fredway< no role > then and
there lying Dead as follow

Ann Davis< no role > Nurse of the Sick Ward of the said Prison
upon her Oath Saith That about a Week since the
deceased was brought into the Sick Ward with a
violent Cold and pain in her Limbs attending [..]
with which she continued afflicted until Thursday
the 13th. instt. about 2 o'Clock when she was seized
with a strong Convulsion Fit of which she died
immediately Saith that every proper Care was
taken of her and saith that the deceased tho:
so ill was such a strong Young Woman that he
had no idea of her Death.
