Informations of Witnesses taken at the dwelling house of
Samuel Bearcroft< no role > that Sign of the Queens head
in the Parish of St: Mary le bone in the County of Middlesex on
Thursday the twenty Seventh day of April 1786 Before
Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Coroners for the said
County touching the death a Man Unknownthen
and there lying dead as follow

Samuel Robinson< no role > of Mary le bone aforesaid Labouring
Brickmaker Upon his Oath Saith That on Tuesday
last as he was at Work in Mr a Brickfield in said
Parish he discovered the deceased laying in a pond
of Water in that Field upon which Deponent
went into the pond and Swam to the Body and
brought it on Shore the deceased had all his le Coaths. on and
had two or three Bricks buttoned within his
WaisCoat and a Brick in each pocket. and
think that the deceased drowned. himself.
