Informations of Witness taken this eighth
day of November one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty
five in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn above the Bars
in the County of Middlesex at the Dwelling House of
Thomas Manning< no role > the Sign of the Blackmoorshead
in Beauchamp Street Brooks Market
Before me Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire one of his Majestys
Coroners for the said County touching the Death of
Leonard Whitchurch then and there lying dead as
follow

William Beers Beckwith< no role > of the H [..] Cups Bedford
Street Bedford Row Holborn Baker on his Oath saith
that he has known ye Deceased Sixteen Years was in Company
with him about a fortnight since and in Conversation
Deceased told Deponent that when he had beenbeen
at weak for some time past his head was so bad
that he did not know what he was about and laid
that he was afraid he should be like his two Sister
as his head had been so weak for some years back
that he was afraid he was going the same way
as they were meaning that they had been in [..]
state of insanity and were obliged to be confirmed in
Bethleham .
