Informations of Witnesses taken this twenty second
day of Novemberone thousand Seven hundred and
Eighty five in the Hamlet of Hammersmith in the Parish of Fulham
in the County of Middlesex at the Dwelling
House of John Antill< no role > the Sign of the
Three Jolly Gardeners at Brook Green Before me Edward Umfreville< no role >
Esquire one of his Majestys Coroners for the said
County touching the Death ofA Man Un [..] St.
then and there lying Dead as follow.

William Pollard< no role > Son of John Pollard< no role > of Brook
Green Gardener on his Oath Saith That on Sunday
last being in Shepherds Bush Brickfield near Brook
Green afsd. he went to the Brickhill or there to warm
his hands & saw. the deceased laying upon the Top of
the thilord Saith that he immediately gave an
Alarm in the Neighbourhood and returned to the Them and one Edmund Bowrie< no role >
came to the Kiln and turned the Man (who was
laying upon his have) round upon his Back and he
appeared to this Deponent to be dead.

On his Oath Saith That on Sunday last he was
walking the abovementd. Field and hearing the said
William Pollard< no role > and another Boy say there was a
Mandead on the Brick kiln Deponent got upon the
Kiln and saw ye. deceased laying upon his Face.
