Dept assisted to take the deced to Bishopsgate workhouse where
Dept left him and returned to his Beat

John Thompson< no role > one of the Watchman of Saint Botolph without
Bishopsgate maketh oath that being on his Beat on Wednesday
Morning last a bottle after two he was called to by Pearce his bertha
Watchman that he pound the deced Ranging in the manner
described by Pearce-Dept assisted to get him down and to
take him to the workhouse -Dept say, he has known the
deced nearing year that he was a servant to a Mr.LeCointe
of Devonshire Square Brearly the whole of that time but had
quitted his service about a month-Dept has seen the deced
in Devonshire square two or three things time he left his place
Dept says he saw the deced walking in Devonshire square
from two to four in the Morning of Tuesday last that he
appeared intoxicated and saved and talked [..] wildly and
appeared very much distressed in his mind

Paul James LeCointe of Devonshire Square Bishopsgate
Street Merchant maketh Oath that the deced has
been in his service about eight year-that requitted Dept.
service the 6th of February last-that the latter past of the time
he lived with Dept. he drank very much and his intellents
became very much impaired so much so that Dept spoke to
him about is -Dept says he really considered the deced to be
deranged at times from January last to the time of quitting his
service.
