LondonDeposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christchurch in
the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid this 13th. day of February 1799 on
view of the body of John Wild< no role > now here
lying Dead

Charles Wilson< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced John Wild< no role > who
was a Prisoner in the said Gaol about six WeeksThat he came
into the Sick Ward where Deponent attends on the 24th. January
last ill in a decline of which he has been ill during the
whole time Dept. has known him that the deced continued to
decline and get worse daily until between three and
four oClock this Morning when he departed this Life that
he was attended by the Surgeon of the Gaol during his illness
