Informations of Witness taken at the parish
of Allhallows Barking in the
Ward of Tower in London the
23d. day of Octr. 1798 on view of the
body of Charles Thomas< no role > there
lying dead.

Jane Spoulds< no role > of No.1 Red Cross [..] Court
Town Street Window maketh oath that yesterday
afternoon between two and three o clock the mother
of the deadMillcame house [..] Says she is a Cham [..] on
Shirty afterward she came down Slairs to fetch some
Water and whilst the was so some a little had [..]
to other of the dead [..] out & sayed Charles the dead was on
[..] This occasioned the mother to go up to them & dept
followed her as last as the could up to the apartment where
the & her Children lived & there she saw the mother
end caug. to [..] ust the flames up he Childs death. [..]
assistd & the flames were [..] The Child was must
burned Every assistance was given to the Child [..] he died
in a few hours.
