William Perriams< no role > of No. 1 Crown Court Chancery Lane maketh
Oath that he isbeing one of the Constables of the City of London that about
nine oClock on Tuesday Night last Dept. having been sent for went
to Mr. Salkins a Pawnber other corner of Appolls Court Fleet street
that the deced was standing in the shop that a shopman of Mr
Salkins gave the deced in charge to Dept on simpiceion of his
having stolen a Ten Spoon which he had just before offered to
Pledge with the shopman Dept took charge of the deced and whole
conveyingcorrecetedhim to saint Dunstans watch house to New Compt by into per Streethe ran away
but was again taken and conversed to the watch house and about
eleven oClock Dept desired Joseph Dadd one of the Watchmen to
conveyed the deced to the Giltspeer Street Compter Watch housethat Dodd accordingly
took the deced in charged and left the watch house in order to go with
him to the compter Dept saw the deced Yesterday Morning lying
Dead in a Room in the Compter Dept says while the deced
was in the Watch house he scarched him that he had about him a top
of master plated with silver two Key a Knife a piece of Line
some Nails and five Shillings and ten pence in money that
Dept asked the deced several Question who he was and where he
lived that the deced presdricated very much and gave different
accounts of himself

sath that about eleven oClock on Tuesday Night be the directions of
The last witness william Periam he conseyed the deced to the
Giltspur street Compter and there left him in charge of Bradford
Stone one of the Turn Keys there that he appeared to be so her and
sensible and sayed very little while going along
