Southwark Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint George the Martyr
Southwark on view of the body of
Nathan Codd< no role > then lying dead 28 July 1747

William Speed< no role > of the New Market Saint Geo's
fields Green Grocer maketh oath that last Wednesday
night about twelve oClock Dept being in Mansfield Street
to heard the report of a pistol & presently a Woman came
out of the deceds house crying out MurderThat Dept went
into the house and there saw the deced lying upon the floor with
a pistol between his legs and his Brains blown out.
