there was some blood on the floor and on the Bed-Dept
has known the deced near forty years-That the deced
has been ill of an Asthmatic Complaint three years
past-That the deced and Dept. has been very intimate
acquaintances the whole time-That this week past
Dept. has observed a great change in the deced manner
and behaviour that he appeared very melancholy and
dull looked very well with his Eyes and when Dept
asked him any question he did not give proper [..] on apt
answers and seemed to shun Dept. notwithstanding [..]
he and the deced had been intimate so long which Dept
could not account for [..] never having given the deced
any a Front or cause to be so-Dept says upon his Oath
tha he verily believes the deced to have been deranged
this Week past.

Sworn this 19th. day of July
1797 before me.}
