An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to say at
the Parish of Allhallows Barking in the Ward of Tower in London aforesaid on the third day of
July in the thirty seventh year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by
the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith
and so forth before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for
the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the body of Robert Huson< no role >
now here lying dead by the oath of John Gray< no role > James Blanch< no role > Charles Burnett< no role >
John Jones< no role > Joseph Fennell< no role > Thomas Crow< no role > Samuel Wright< no role > William How< no role > Thomas
Walker James Robinson< no role > John Crane< no role > William Harris< no role > and Lewes Delport good and
lawful men of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn
and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner
the said Robert Huson came to his death say upon their oath that the said Robert
Huson on the thirtieth day of June in the year aforesaid accidentally casually and
by misfortune fell in the River of Thames and in and with the waters of the
said River was then and there suffocated and drowned of which said
suffocation and drowning the said Robert Huson did then and there die. And so
the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said Robert Huson< no role >
In manner and by the means aforesaid accidentally casually and by
misfortune came to his death and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well
the said Coroner as the said John Gray< no role > the foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of
himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition
set their hands and seals the day year and place first above written.
