London Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the parish of Saint Ann
Blackfriars in the ward of Farringdon
within [..] in London aforesaid this 6th. day of
February 1797 on view of the body of a
Woman unknown.

Henry Smith< no role > a Lighterman lodging at No. 211 upper Thames
Street London maketh oath that about twelve at Noon on Saturday
last Dept. saw the deced lying with her face downwards in the
Mud near a Craft lying at Mr. Eddington Wharf Saint Arms
Blackfriers -Dept. and another Man got a Rope & fastened to the
deced & got her on Short to the [..] cause way of Blackfriers
Stairs were they left her and acquainted the officers of the Parish
That she appeared to have been very little time in the Water
