aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to
inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said John
Radford came to his death say upon their oath that the said

thirty first day of January in the year aforesaid being driving a certain Cart
drawn by two horses along and over a certain bridge situate in the parish of Saint
Magnus the Martyr
in the City of London
It so happened that the said

accidentally casually and by misfortune fell to the ground there and the wheels of the said
Cart did then and there go upon and pass over the body of him the said
John Radford< no role >
by means whereof the said
John Radford< no role >
did then and there receive divers mortal fracture
of the ribs of him the said
John Radford< no role >
of which said mortal fractures he the said John
Radford as well as the said Parish of Saint Magnus the Martyr
in the City of London
as also at the aforesaid Parish of Saint Thomas within the Borough of Southwark
aforesaid
in the County aforesaid did languish and languishing did live and on the same day and
year last aforesaid at the Parish last aforesaid in the

of Southwark
aforesaid in
the County aforesaid the said

of the said mortal fractures did dieAnd so the Jurors
aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said

in manner and by the
means aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune came to his death and not otherwise
And that the wheels of the said Cart were moving to the death of the said

and are
of the value of one shilling and the property of and in the possession of
Samuel Day< no role >
of Castle
lane Borough Clink within the Borough
and County aforesaid CarmanIn Witness
whereof as well the said Coroner as the said William Elsdon the foreman
of the
said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence
have to this Inquisition set their hands and seals the day year and place
first abovewritten.
