Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Saint Bartholomew
the less in the Ward of Farringdon without
in London aforesaid this 27th. day of January
1796 on view of the Body of Sarah Higgins< no role >
now here lying Dead.

John Mc. Ewan< no role > a Plaisterer lodging at No.4 Plough
Court Holborn maketh Oath that about six oClock in the
Evening of last Tuesday three Weeks Dept. heard a person
had been run over Dept. went out & saw the deced Sarah
Higgins
< no role > whom he hath known between three and four
Months lying upon a Shutter upon the foot pavement
[..] in Holborn near Mackenzies Wine Vaults Holborn
Hill Street a great deal of blood came from her Head &
free that she appeared to be sensible but much hurt
Dept. assisted to take her to the Hospital where she
now lies the deced was taken into one of the Wards
in the Hospital Dept. has been informed the deced died
Yesterday Morning

Robert Reynolds< no role > of No.2 Great Ormond Street Stock-
broker maketh Oath that about six oClock in the Evening
of last Tuesday three Weeks Dept. his Wife his brother in
Law [..] Sister & a Young Lady< no role > being in an Hackney
Coach passing down St. Andrews Hill Holborn nearly
opposite Shoe Lane some persons halloed to the Coach
-man & desired him to stop the [..] Coachman slopt
his Horses some persons gathered round the Coach &
sayed a Woman had been run overthat at the time
the Coachman was [..] desired to Stop he was going a
very moderate gentle pace down the Hill That it
was a dark Evening at the time.
