very much that the Surgeon dressed the Wound and the deced
was then put to Bed a Dept. was in the House near an hour
after she was taken into the house during which time the deced
never spoke [..] moved or groaned Dept. has seen the deced
this Morning lying dead in the Hospital whom he believes to be
the same person Dept. has since understood that a Mr.Phillips
keeps the house the deced was taken into.

Gardens Bermondsey maketh Oath that between nine and ten
oClock on Monday Night last Dept. went to the House of Mr. Phillips
in Bermondsey Waterside That upon going [..] into a Room in
Mr. Phillip's house< no role > Mr. Phillips & one Mr. Peterson< no role > being preserve
Mrs. Phillips requested Dept. would sit up with he Maid (the
deced) for that she was ill & had taken an Emetic and that she
believed she was dying with Love for a married Man. Dept.
went into the Kitchen the deced & a Mrs. Peterson were there. That
[..] the deced was sitting in a Chair & Mrs. Peterson was talking to
her Mr Peterson sayed to the deced how can you be such a wicked
Creature to think of a married Man. you had better think us
more of it his wife is preferable to you the deced was then laining
with [..] the side of her Face on her hand, looked very wild
& stared with her Eyes and at times looked very spightful
Mrs. Peterson then left the Kitchen and went up Stairs Dept. continued
with the deced continued sitting in the Chair often sayed to herself
"I am a very wicked girl "a very wicked or cature' Dept. asked
he what she was wicked in but she made no answer. the
deced [..] up very suddenly out of the Chair Dept. asked her
where she was going the deced made no answer but kneeded
herself down on the Floor with her two arms on the Chair &
her head upon her arms. that soon after she wished to go to Bed
Mrs. Phillips & Mrs. Peterson coming [..] into the Kitchen they
& Dept. went up to the Garret three pair of Stairs and got the
deced to Bed while she was getting to Bed Mrs. Phillips
talked to her very much the deced often sayed she believed the
Devil had got her [..] which was all the sayed, That the deced being in
Bed Mrs. Phillips & Mrs. Peterson left Dept. with the deced
the deced had not been long in Bed before Dept. observed he
