George Ring< no role > a Private in the Fifeshire Zencibles
now residing at Mr. Ellis's a Butcher upon long Wall
ChristChurch Surrey maketh Oath and saith that about
nine months since the deced who was dept. Wife went with
him from London to Scotland & from thence to Ireland.
Says that on the 26th. of Novr. last he obtained a Furlough
to go to the Co. of Middx. intedg to bring his Wife (the deced)
to London she being unwell & having been to him some time
she not being of a Strong constitution & having experienced
more hands [..] iss than she was able to bearThat about a
a Week or ten afterwards he handed with the deced at
Liverpool & about three days afterwards he set off with
the deced on his way to LondonSay that afterwards with
great difficulty to get the deced on by means of [..] different
Carnages & assistance as for as Stafford Says that on [..] Saturday
night a Pass Warrt. havg. been obtained from the Mayor of
Stafford for the removal of the deced to saint Dunstans parish
London, she was taken from Stafford by a Pass Cart to Sutton
in Warwickshire ; Says they set off again the next Morng. early
& went to Coventry where they arrived at the middle of the day.
