Informations of Witnesses at the Parish
of Saint Dunstan in the West in the
Ward of Farringdon without in London
aforesaid on the 14th. day of Octr. 1795 on
view of the body of Thomas Banks< no role > there
lying dead.

John Moss< no role > of No. 20 Fulwoods rents Holborn
Auctioneer maketh oath & saith that yesterday about
noon Dept. being in Serjeant Inn Coffee house he was told
a Man was lying in the passage to the Salisbury Coffee house
and Dept went into the passage & saw the deced sitting upon
his breech with his back leaning against the Wall, he appeared
to Dept. to be dying, upon which Dept. desired a [..] woman who
was present who sayed she was servant at the house to take the
deced in, & she sayed she would be damn'd if she would on less
Dept gave her his card of address, & would pay any expense
which should be occasionedDept gave her his card, & then with
assistance Dept removed him into the house, & remained with
him there until he died, which was about 10 minutes afterwds.
Dept says he did not observe any appearance of violence about
him

John Anderson< no role > of No. 172 Fleet Street London Surgeon
maketh oath that yesterday about one of clock he was called in
to see the deced says he did not observe any appearance of violence
about him, & he believes he died from excessive drinks.
