the parish of Saint Bartholomew the less in the Ward of Farringdon
without in London aforesaid on the
eighteenth day of August
in the thirty fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by
the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth before

aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and
charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said

came to his death say upon their oath that the said

on the Sixteenth day of August in
the year aforesaid being on the top of a certain house belonging to one John Channel situate in the
parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the County of Middlesex
It so happened that the said

accidentally casually and by misfortune fell from and off the said house down against and upon
the stone pavement there by means whereof the said

did then and there receive one
mortal bruise and contusion in and upon the left side of the head of him the said

of which
said mortal contusion the said

as well at the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the County of Middlesex
as also at the said parish of Saint Bartholomew the less in the ward of Farringdon
without in London
aforesaid did languish and languishing did live On which said sixteenth day of August
in the year aforesaid at the parish last aforesaid in the ward aforesaid in London
aforesaid the said

mortal Contusion did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said

in manner and by the means aforesaid casually and by misfortune was
accidentally killed In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Adins Boughton the
foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence have to this
Inquisition set their hands and seals the day year and place first above written
