Depositions of Witnesses taken at London that
is to say at the parish of Saint Bartholomew the
Less in the Ward of Farringdon without in London
aforesaid this 8th. day of August 1795 on view of
the Body of Catherine Paine< no role > now here lying
Dead.

William Tuck< no role > of Snow Hill London No. 72 Grocer
maketh oath that [..] between 4 & 5 in the afternoon
of Wednesday last Dept. standing at the Door of him shop saw a Coach
passing down Snow Hill going towards Holborn way
drawn by four Horses that many persons among whom appeared
to be several Soldier were upon the top of the Coach. that these
Coach [..] of the Coach beenJust as the Coach got below the
Turnagain Lane the near wheels of the Coach being in the
Kennel the Coachman endeavoured to drive the Horses further
out in the Street while he was so doing the Coach by some means
over turned against Dept. House Dept. being alarmed can
to the back part of his shop & heard a crashuponDept then
returned to the Shop Door. that some of the persons who
appeared to have been upon top of the Coach were lying upon
the pavement that a Woman who Depts. believes to be the deced
was lying under most & some other persons who looked like
Soldiers were lying upon her. that one of them got up another
of them was obliged to be helped up then the Woman who
appeared to be insensible was helped upthat she was
brought into Dept. Shop and placed upon a Chest of Tea. he
Chris hung on her Nick and she was at first in sensible but
after a little while asked for some Water. that a Sange on who
had been sent for came. that the examined her. that she was
then taken from Dept. Shop in order to be taken to Bartholomew< no role >
Hospital where Dept. has seen her this aftnoon lying Dead

Oath that between 4 & 5 in the afternoon of Wednesday last
Dept. standing at his Door saw a Coach drawn by four Horses
passing down Snow Hill that several persons in Soldiers dresses
were upon the top & in the Backet of the Coach he believes 7 or 8
on the top & 3 in the backet that one Woman was upon the top
that just as the Coach got opposite Mr. Thompsons Dept. observed
