Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of Saint
Sepulchre in the Ward of Farringdon
without in London the 7th. day of
August 1795 on view of the body of
William Kinsman< no role > there lying dead

Alexander Clark< no role > No 4 Bedford Street Bedford row
Upholder , but now a prisoner for debt in his Majesty's
Gaol of Newgate maketh oath that on the 14th. July last
about ½ pasrt 4 in the morning Dept was awakened by a
noise in the necessary of the room wherein he and the deced and
many other prisrs. Slept which occasioned dept to get up and
go to the privy where he found the deced Learning with his
head over the seal coughing and apparently with a difficulty
of bringing something upThat dept with his open hand
dapped him upon the back upon which he started up and
turned round & followed dept hastily out of the hours, & at
that time Dept observed blood to issue from his throat and his
MouthDept alarmed othe prisrs. in the same room, & one
of them named Jane took from the deced an [..] bar which
he believes he seozer hold of to further injure himself
That the deced was taken care of, when he frequently wished there
about him to knock him on the head or to hang him That a
surgeon immediately saw the deced, & so did anor. Surgeon soon
afterwards who gave the deced as dept believes proper assistance
That the deced was then taken to the sick Ward where he died
as dept is informed & believes yesterday mong.a Knife was
afterwardsfound in the Privy Hoody.Says the deced came into
the Gaol on the 15 July & from that time Dept & others observed
him take in a very despong damaged state of mind.
