London Information of Witnesses taken at the parish of christ
Church in the Ward of Farringdon without
in London the 5 Augt. 1795 on view of the
body of Wm. Goldsmith< no role > then and there lying
dead

John Worsley< no role > servant to the late Mr. Goldsmith the deced
who maketh oath that the deced yesterday morning dept with
Mr. Green & other persons broke into the deceds bed room, they
being alarmed & suspectg. something had happened to him,it being
he not having came down that morng & it being so late as ½ past
11Saystheyhe found the deced kneeling by the bed side with his
head laid upon the bed & a great deal of blood upon the floor was him
That the deced was quite dead & Dept aftwds saw a pistol in
his right hand clasped last.
