London Information of Witnesses taken at
the parish of Saint Botolph without
Bishopsgate in the ward of Bishopsgate
without in London aforesaid on the
tenth day of July 1795 on view
of the Body of a female Child now
here lying dead.

Thomas Sapwell< no role > of No.1 Farrers Rents Bishopsgate street
without Gun stock maker maketh Oath that about ½ past
ten OClock last Night Peter [..] Lee< no role > a Watchman came
to Dept. & acquainted him a Child lay in Foster Street
opposite a Mr. Parkinsons [..] Door-Dept. went to Foster street
aforesaid and [..] near Mr. Meck's's Gateway in Foster
Street aforesaid he found the deced a Female Infant Child
lying upon its side upon a piece of paper and one part of
the paper over it-it appeared as if recently left there the
[..] Dept. caused the deced to be taken to the work house
where it now liesThos Sapwell

maker maketh Oath that about ½ past 10 OClock last Night
Dept. having been out of her return to her House she saw
something lying on the pavement-Dept. knocked at her Door
& having got a Light she & her Husband examined it and
found it to be [..] a Child-Dept. & her Husband then gave
the alarm to the Neighbours-& Soon after one of the Watchmen
came & took it away.

John Robinson< no role > of Bishopsgate Street London Surgeon
Apothecary maketh Oath that between two & three this
afternoon Dept. examined that deced a Female Infant
Child at the Work house where it now lies. That there are
no external marks of violence about. that there was a redness
upon its bread and Face from which appearance Dept. thinks
it had not long been born & that it was occasioned by some
obstruction in the Birth-its Nails and Hair are perfect
from which Dept. thinks it had come to its full growth
