Bridewell
in the parish of Saint George within the Borough
of Southwark
maketh Oath that the deced was brought to the
House of Correction
aforesaid about two OClock in the afternoon
of Wednesday last being committed as Dept. understood for
Seven Days and Vagrant and then to be passed-that he
appeared very ill and unable to walk Dept. being obliged
to [..] carry him [..] on his back to the Room allotted for him
that [..] Dept. and several other persons slept in the same
Room with the deced that the deced was placed on a
Bed of straw in the Roomthat he continued very ill [..]
that Night ground very much and inand about five OClock
appeared to the insensible that he continued very ill the remains
of the Evening all that Night and the Night Day Thursday until
about five OClock in the afternoon when he departed this Life
That the Surgeon of the prison saw the deced about ten OClock
on the Thursday that he sayed the deced appeared to be dying
That he directed Bottles with Hot water to be put under the deceds
Arms and for him to be rubbed with Brandy only in and
Salt that it might for long his Life a little but he thought in
impossible for him to recoverthat the deced had some hot Wine
given him by the Surgeons Orders
