Informations taken at the parish of Saint
Bridget otherwise Bride in the ward of
Farringdon without in London aforesaid on
the 5th day of March 1795 . on view of the
body of John Gunston< no role > now here lying dead.

Richard King< no role > a prisoner for Debt in His Majestys prison
of the fleet maketh Oath that the prisoner deced John Gunston< no role >
came into the said prison on Saturday last-that Deponent
was called about three in the Morning of Yesterday in order
to go to the deced Dept being a Surgeon-on going to the deced
he found the deced with his Legs out of Bed and apparently in
a pit and he appeared in a dying State-that he was bled by
a Mr Gillespye that the deced continued in an insensible
state tillabout asbetween five and six OClock when he
departed this LifeDept. apprehends the deced death was
occasioned by a Pit

Thomas Topping< no role > a prisoner for Debt in His Majestys Prison
of the Fleet maketh Oath that the deced has slept with him from
the time of his coming to the prison Saturday last that Dept.
and the deced went to Bed about eleven OClock onSaturday
Night has
Tuesday Night last-that about ½ past 2 in the
Night Dept. wakened & got out of Bed in order to make water
that on getting out of Bed he found the deceds Legs out of
Bed-Dept. spoke to him & shook him but reced no answer
Dept. was getting in to Bed again but finding the deced in the
same state upon which Dept. shoke him & gave him aslep
with his hand in order to make him but without effect Dept
then called the last witr of who came and found the deced
in the date as described by him
