Inquisition taken the 16th. day of Decemr.
1794 on Michael Neale whohavingon the
14th. Decemr. having with other persons
committed divers Breacher of the peaces in
the parish of Saint Mary le Strand in endeavon
ing to make his escape from certain persons
who were endeavouring to apprehend him
for the same ran down Surrey Street in the
said parish and the Stairs at the bottom of
the said Street next the worter side having
been lately before taken up he accidentally
fell from the end of the said Street down to &
among some Brick Work lately erected for
the purpose of making new Stairs whereby
he reced divers mortal wounds upon his Head
& the under past of his Crim of which he
died in the course of an hour.
