London Deposition of a Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the parish of Saint Mary
at Hill in ward of Billingsgate in
London aforesaid this 24th day of July
1794 on view of the Body of William
Newman now here lying Dead

John Newman< no role > of No.18 Water Lane White friars
London Yeoman maketh oath that his son the deced
William Newman< no role > about twelve of years of ago left
his House in Water Lane aforesaid between four and
five oClock on Saturday afternoon last that he was a
Servant to a Gentleman in Lincolns Inn fields
that between five & Six same afternoon Dept deced
information from another of his Tons that the deced
was drowned Depthearsaw his said Son the deced
lying dead in the Bone house of St Mary as Hill
Church on Tuesday afternoon last Dept understood
from the information he reced that the deced was
accidentally drowned
