Bywater took hold of the deced by each Arm and the
walked Home with their assistance to her Lodgings No. 6
Princess Street Rosemary Lane that the and her husband
lodged in a Garrett of that Housethat it was then between
eleven and twelve O Clockthat the Street Door being open
Dept. and Bywater took the deced into the passage and
placed her on the the second on third Stair and called out
for the Husband of the deced but receiving no answer
[..] but from a Woman on the Stair who sayed
the believed he was not at Home Dept. and Bywater
left the deced there and quitted the House shutting
the Street Door after themthat the deced appeared rather
illthat the deced was very much addicted to drinking
often getting Drunk with drinking Gin.

Eleanor Browning< no role > Widow lodging in the one pair of
Stairs Room of No. 6 Princess Street Rosemary Lane
maketh Oath that she hath known the deced near twenty
years that she and her husband lodged in a Garret of that
House for this twelve Months pastthat the deced was
very much addicted to drinking and Dept. has often seen
her intoxicatedthat between Eleven and twelve O Clock
Wednesday Night last Dept. heard the deced at the bottom
of the Stairs and Powell with her the deced with an
Oath sayed she would not go up StairsPowell went up
to the Garrett Door and Knocked but no one answered
Powell called out to Know if it was No. 6 a Woman in the
one pair of Stairs sayed YesPowell went down Stairs
andDept. and PowellDept. heard Powell and the deced
speak together outside of the Street Door and heard the
deced say [..] the would not go up Stairs that Night
Dept. heard the decad again in the passage between [..]
One and two and two strange Men with herthat they
left the deced on the Stairsthat about five O Clock the
[..] same Morning on Dept. going down Stairs she
found the deced a few Stairs from the Bottom one Leg thro
the Rail of the Stairs and her head lying rather under
her Arm against the Wall and her head down then he
Legsthat she was a little Warm but quite Dead
