door at allDept further says that on Saturday eve the outer
door of the deceds Chamber was opened by a Smith< no role > in the presence of
several people & the deced was found deadDept says that on the
Friday morning after the decd went into his [..] having given
Dept some Milk the heard no noise until she heard his door [..]
too and a person pass down Stairs in the manner she has before
described.

Charles Crowe< no role > of Newport Street Soho Yeoman maketh
oath that he supped with the decd at his Chambers in Clifford
Inn last Thursday right & left him about a quarter part so alone
That the deced promised to take Tea with Dept on the next
afternoon Friday, but he did not came-that on Saturday eve
the deced not having been seen his Chambers enter door was opened
by [..] of Dept. & Mr Jones a friend of the deced when he was
found deadSays that Mr. Barrow casually attended on Dept as
well as on the deced & that he came to Dept on Friday rather before
to which was much carker than usual & on Dept. inquiring of him
the reason he sayed that he had been to Mr. Slaughters Chambers but his
door was, but & he was gone out Dept. says that on the Thursday
night the dead appeared low spirited & Dept asked him if he was
not so-(he having laboured under a depression of Spirits about
two years ago) and the deced answered ho he was not so.

that he saw the dead as his Chambers last Thursday about 12 at
noonthat he did not see him afterwards until he found him in the
