Southwark

An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King atLondon that is to sayat the psh
of Saint George written the Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey on the third day of September in the
thirty third year of the reign of our Sovn Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain
France & Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of
our said Lord the King for the City of London and Brough of Southwark on view of the Body of Anna Winrow
now here lying dead by the Oath of James Hedger< no role > Isaac Cooper< no role > William Chapman< no role > Benjamin Hughes< no role >
Thomas Brand< no role > Thomas Skinner< no role > William Selvester< no role > John Holden< no role > John Roberts< no role > Elizah Theobald< no role >
Robert Bullard Duncan Watson Joseph Wood< no role > Henry Stopforth and David Ellcott< no role > good and
lawful men of the City of London who being now here duly chosen sworn & charged to inquire for our sd Lord
the King when how and in what manner the said Anna Winrow came to her death say upon their Oath
that the sd Anna Winrow not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted
on the 22 day of August in the year at the parish and Borough aforesaid in the County aforesaid did
drink and sevallow a great Quantity of Deadly prison called Arswick by means who she the sd
Anna Winrow then & there became and was mortally sick and diseased in her Body of which said mortal sickage
and disease she the said Anna Winrow from the said twenty second day of August in the year aforesaid
until the thirtieth day of the same mouth of August did languish and languishing did live On which
said thertieth day of August in the year aforesaid at the parish and Borough aforesaid in the County afsd
the said Anna Winrow of the said sickness and disease did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon there
Oath aforesaid do say that the [..] Anna Winrow not being of sound mind memory and understanding
but lunatic and distracted in manner and by the means aforesaid did prison and Kill herself
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said James Hedger< no role > th foreman of the said Jurors on
Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said James Hedger< no role > the foreman of the said Jurors on
behalf of himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their
hand and seals the day year and place first above written.
